Mac Heat is a regional collective consisting of four top-tier musicians whose sole focus is delivering a sizzling hot plethora of soul, funk, R&B, and blues that spans and connects the generational divides.
Fronted by the soulful sounds of powerhouse vocals courtesy of Michelle Heaton and backed by the sweet harmonies and infectious grooves of an all-star band of soul aficionados, Mac Heat will fill your ears with sonic candy dripping with soulfulness.

Tom is originally from Daytona Beach, FL. He has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, performing with such musicians as Charlie Daniels, Martina McBride, and The Platters. He is a multi-string instrumentalist and is retired from the Army Band. Other hobbies include hiking, camping, practical joking, concert going, and familying.
Michelle is originally from Jefferson, NH. She has performed in Italy, Florida, Virginia, Massachusetts, DC, Maryland throughout her musical journey. Having sung multiple genres of music she finds her own soul in the soul of R&B, Soul, Blues and Funk. Other hobbies include kayaking, golfing, watching live music, camping, traveling.
Denzil is originally from Cleveland, OH. He has played with a multitude of bands throughout his career and received many accolades, most recently the winner of the DC Blue's Society Battle of the Bands 2022. He has played singer/songwriter shows, blues shows and top 40 gigs including corporate events in Maryland, District of Columbia, Miami, Denver and New York City. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Studio Music and Jazz Performance from the University of Miami. Other hobbies include kayaking, familying, traveling.
Andy Emerich holds a Master of Music degree from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He is also an alumnus of the Brevard Music Center and the Aspen Music Festival. He has performed with the Maryland Symphony, Midland-Odessa Symphony and Chorale, the Round Rock Symphony, and the Northbrook Symphony. Andy was active in the marching percussion idiom for several years performing with the Revolution Drum and Bugle Corps, the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps, Surround Sound Percussion, Element HPA, the University of Texas Longhorn Band, and the Chicago Bulls’ “Stampede” drum line. He has also worked as a clinician, private instructor, and arranger for many scholastic ensembles as well as the Northwestern University Wildcat Marching Band. An active drum set performer, Andy also plays with various projects in a multitude of genres. He currently serves as a percussionist in the U.S. Army Field Band. His other hobbies include working with percussion students, videography and road cycling.
